Tone Bianca Sparre Dahl assumed position as conductor of Schola Cantorum in 2002. She graduated from diploma studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music in 1991. She is also a trained singer and pianist from the Music Conservatory in Stavanger, and studied educational subjects, aural training and choir conducting at the Kodaly Institute in Hungary. Tone Bianca is Associate Professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music in choral conducting, and teaches song at Oslo City Steiner-Waldorf school. She is a treasured lecturer for choirs and conductors all over the world, especially in subjects like leadership and communication, and in conducting and singing techniques for choirs. She also frequents juries in international choir competitions. Tone released a textbook in 2002 : "The Choir - singing - leading - communicating", available in English at Cantando Publishing.
